Tuition fees

  • Most public universities charge no tuition for international students.
  • Students typically pay a semester contribution or administrative fee each term.
Bank statement

Students must open a blocked account in Germany with €11,904 as proof of one-year living expenses. Sponsorships or scholarships covering the same amount can replace the blocked account.

Permanent Residency (PR)

After the job search year, graduates can extend their work permit and apply for a Permanent Residence permit once eligibility conditions are met.

Job Opportunities

International students can work up to 120 full days or 240 half days per year alongside their studies.

Job Search Year

After completing a full-time degree, international students can legally stay and work in Germany for up to one and a half years.

Spouse / Dependent Visa

Students may sponsor their spouse and children. Visa fee €37.50, document verification approx. BDT 28,000, insurance around €200.

A focused personal statement outlining your study goals, motivation and career plans.

Recommendation Letters

At least two letters from professors or employers who know your work well.

Financial Documents

Bank statements, FDR or sponsor papers proving funds for tuition and living costs.

Visa Application Form

A fully completed and signed visa form specific to your destination country.

Health Insurance

Valid coverage that meets the host country requirements for your entire stay.
